Deciding how to describe the Prime Video miniseries 'Wilderness' in a single image was easy, the hard part was keeping the correlation with the 'Distracted boyfriend' meme, reference for the piece.
The meme, which had its origins in a stock photo by Spanish photographer Antonio Guillem, presents a "funny" view of the situation or at least a non-tragic view. A reality very far from the story that the show portrays, which right at the beginning reveals a fatal situation resulting from cheating.
So, for this piece, it was necessary to think about how to maintain the idea of a “womanizer” presented in the reference, but with several unique elements that brought the tone of the show.
